Description
We're looking for a senior Organizational Program Manager to drive efficiency, build scalable
processes, and partner with engineering leadership across a large engineering organization.
You'll own complex programs end-to-end, bring data-driven insight to leadership decisions, and
develop repeatable solutions that scale. You'll advise senior leaders on organizational strategy,
influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive the programs shaping the culture of the
organization you support.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Planning
Own the rhythm of business for senior engineering leadership — designing, facilitating, and
continuously improving staff meetings, leadership syncs, and working groups with a focus on
outcomes and follow-through
Track and drive action items from leadership forums; surface blockers, escalate risks, and
close commitments with accountability
Lead end-to-end planning of quarterly business reviews, planning cycles, and offsites —
owning narrative structure and ensuring each session drives meaningful decisions
Establish a structured intake process for leadership priorities, triaging requests and keeping
the org focused on highest-impact work
Identify inefficiencies and design scalable, repeatable solutions; document and socialize
frameworks for broad org adoption
Lead headcount planning, fiscal budget management, space planning, and growth planning
end-to-end — serving as the primary coordination point between engineering leadership,
finance, and admin
Translate headcount, engagement, and operational data into actionable insights for senior
leaders
Navigate complex, ambiguous organizational challenges with sound independent judgment
Cross-functional Leadership & Influence
Build trusted partnerships across Engineering, Finance, People, Learning & Development,
and Communications to align priorities and drive coordinated execution
Influence without authority — align teams with competing priorities and drive consensus on
complex, multi-party decisions
Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders — anticipating needs, preparing them for key
conversations, and providing candid, well-reasoned perspectives
People, Culture & Communications
Identify cultural gaps and org health signals through qualitative and quantitative sensing;
translate findings into concrete programs spanning career development, engagement,
manager effectiveness, and inclusion
Own employee engagement programs end-to-end — setting measurable goals, tracking
outcomes, and iterating based on data
Own audience-tailored communication plans — town halls, leadership updates, team blogs,
and internal documentation
Partner with senior leaders on communications strategy; translate complex engineering and
organizational topics into compelling content for audiences from ICs to executives
Minimum Qualifications
7–10 years as a Chief of Staff, Senior Program Manager, Senior Operations Manager, or
equivalent — with demonstrated end-to-end program ownership and strong autonomy
Experience working directly with and influencing senior leaders in a software engineering
organization
Proven ability to drive programs with measurable outcomes — encompassing design,
implementation, and iteration, not just execution support
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and how engineering teams are
structured and operate
Demonstrated ability to analyze organizational data and translate it into clear leadership
recommendations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience embedded in platform and infrastructure engineering organizations
Track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment without
direct authority
History of designing scalable processes and frameworks — not just executing existing ones
Experience mentoring or developing junior program managers or coordinators
A true team player and trusted partner — someone who shows up for the broader org,
collaborates generously, and always keeps the bigger picture in mind
Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to build trust and work effectively across functions,
levels, and global locations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams
simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to distill complex, ambiguous information
into clear narratives for diverse audiences
Experience planning large-scale events — offsites, town halls, leadership summits —
including logistics and content
Adaptable and composed through change; able to re-prioritize fluidly
Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion
Proficiency with Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Apple tools preferred
