One of tech's least standardized loops: you interview for a specific team, and every stage belongs to it. Recruiter/hiring-manager screen, one to three 45–60 minute Coderpad coding screens, a system design round shaped by Apple's reliability and privacy constraints, and a behavioral round — then a panel debrief. There is no central question bank; questions map to the team's real stack.

Summary
Apple is where individual imaginations gather together to do great work. Every new product we build, service we create, or Apple Store experience we deliver is the result of us making each other's ideas stronger. It's the diversity of our people and their thinking that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do.Description
Apple's Product & Design is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join a team of motion designers, technical artists, and engineers building custom experiences and interactions natively across Apple's ecosystem: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch, and Vision Pro. You'll partner closely with Design teams across the Services organization, like Apple Weather, Apple Pay, and Apple Sports, to create work with the fluidity and polish people expect from Apple. You'll spend most of your time bringing compelling interactions and interfaces to life, while also helping shape what comes next by exploring new ideas. The ideal candidate has the design sense to imagine interactions at that level of polish and the engineering skills to build them. Build everything from individual interface elements to complete prototypes that demonstrate new concepts and showcase features of current and future products. Build multiple iterations as requirements evolve quickly. Craft navigation models, gesture handling, and physics-based animation that feel native to each platform. Provide code and integration support to engineering teams for product features that require complex interactions and motion. Create tools and plugins needed by the design team.Minimum Qualifications
7+ years experience building apps or prototypes for Apple platforms — iOS, macOS, visionOS, tvOS. Proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit. Experience building polished, responsive UIs with attention to detail and motion. Fluency with gesture handling, Core Animation, and physics-based, interruptible animation. Ability to work closely with designers, and iterate quickly on ideas. Strong programming skills, and a passion to learn new & evolving technologies. Effective time management with an ability to spearhead multiple projects.Preferred Qualifications
Experience across more than one Apple platform, including visionOS, watchOS, or tvOS. Familiarity with Metal, Core Image, Core Graphics, RealityKit, Reality Composer, or ARKit, along with familiarity with lower-level rendering and performance work. Experience building tools, plugins, or parameter-tuning harnesses for design workflows.More engineering roles at Apple
