We are looking for a versatile and experienced Sr. Robotics Expert with end-to-end system expertise to accelerate the exploration of new concepts, and to bring innovative ideas to life through efficient hands-on hardware and experience-focused prototyping. Your work will directly influence future explorations by demonstrating the viability and potential of new technologies.

Description

You will take on a Sr. technical role in exploring, analyzing, defining, building hardware prototypes and testing. You will play a key role in developing critical partnerships with key component and module vendors as well as research institutes to accelerate development cycles. You will closely collaborate with global teams and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Explore and develop new concepts by building hardware prototypes and developing new AI experience demos Track rapid technology advancements and market trends to guide explorations Evaluate key components and technologies such as actuators, sensors and control modules, and guide/verify technology improvements Develop critical partnerships with key vendors and research institutes to enable highly efficient development Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary experts globally to define and achieve project goals

Minimum Qualifications

PhD/MS/BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or equivalent with solid, practical problem-solving experience 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and testing robotic systems that encompass both hardware and software components Deep expertise in one or more areas that are critical for robotic system development such as electrical system design, motion control, mechatronics design, firmware and software development Strong written and verbal English communication skills for global teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience in system integration, bringing together complex hardware (sensors, actuators) and software (firmware, control, perception) into a functional system Deep expertise in one or more of the following: end-to-end robotics integration, motor drive and control, camera/sensor/display integration, and related technologies Expertise in Embodied AI (Physical AI) model development and application Deep connection with related technology vendors and research institutes Experience delivering high-volume products from concept to mass production
