One of tech's least standardized loops: you interview for a specific team, and every stage belongs to it. Recruiter/hiring-manager screen, one to three 45–60 minute Coderpad coding screens, a system design round shaped by Apple's reliability and privacy constraints, and a behavioral round — then a panel debrief. There is no central question bank; questions map to the team's real stack.

Summary
AI & Data Platforms (AiDP) is IS&T's engine for AI-powered innovation. The team brings together data, application development, and machine learning — including generative AI — along with data services and customer success functions, to help IS&T build solutions more efficiently and streamline the adoption and embedding of generative AI across Apple. Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your work, and there's no telling what you could accomplish. At Apple, the tools we build determine how we capture, understand, and act on feedback — at massive scale. They power continuous improvement across customers, partners, and employees. We’re looking for a product-minded full-stack engineer to help build our next-generation Experience Management Platform. You’ll own products end-to-end: from designing intelligent backend services and crafting polished user experiences to driving resolution of critical production issues. You bring strong opinions on what makes great software, a bias toward smart automation (including AI agents and ML-driven solutions), and the ability to ship fast without cutting corners.Description
You’ll design and build core platform capabilities — from high-throughput data pipelines for business automation to AI-powered insights and agentic automation to the interfaces that put them in users’ hands. You own your products through the full lifecycle: shipping new features, triaging and resolving critical production issues, and ensuring operational health. You’ll provide technical leadership on architecture, engineering standards, and technology choices, and partner closely with product and design to ensure what we build actually moves the needle.Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years building production Java services (Spring Boot, SOA patterns) Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and building user-facing features Experience building AI-powered capabilities: LLM integration, agentic workflows, NLP pipelines, and intelligent automation — applied to real product use cases Proven track record shipping end-to-end features with a product owner’s mindset — you think in user outcomes, not just tickets Hands-on with cloud-native stack: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Solid CI/CD and DevOps practices Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases at scalePreferred Qualifications
Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clean, scalable technical designs Strong communicator who collaborates naturally across engineering, product, and stakeholders Experience with workflow orchestration platforms (eg: temporal, flowable) Passion for quality, attention to detail and internationalizationMore engineering roles at Apple
