About interviewing at Apple

One of tech's least standardized loops: you interview for a specific team, and every stage belongs to it. Recruiter/hiring-manager screen, one to three 45–60 minute Coderpad coding screens, a system design round shaped by Apple's reliability and privacy constraints, and a behavioral round — then a panel debrief. There is no central question bank; questions map to the team's real stack.

Summary

Join our Wireless Bluetooth Software Engineering team and drive innovation that matters! We craft and seamlessly integrate technologies that enrich people's daily lives such as Audio, Car Experience, HID/Gaming and more. Our team is at the heart of how hundreds of millions of people connect wirelessly every day — from the moment they tap their AirPods to their ears, glide an Apple Pencil across an iPad, or seamlessly hand off a phone call to their vehicle. We build the software that makes these experiences feel magical, instant, and effortless.

Your focus will span optimizing high-fidelity audio pipelines for AirPods, Beats, and hearing devices (LE Audio, A2DP, HFP), building robust automotive connectivity with OEM partners, and engineering ultra-low-latency links for Apple Pencil and unannounced hardware. Partnering closely with hardware, firmware, and quality teams, you will tackle complex system challenges in power efficiency, link reliability, and Wi-Fi coexistence to deliver polished, world-class wireless experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience Strong C++, C, or Objective-C software skills Hands-on experience integrating AI coding agents into daily engineering workflows, spanning design, development, and debugging

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with wireless communication systems (especially Bluetooth) is highly desirable Experience in building user level applications, audio, or AR/VR solutions is a plus Ability to write clean, maintainable code in an OS/RTOS environment Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while authoritatively driving multiple projects across many teams Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to pursue everyday problems in innovative ways Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers
