Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in customer-facing engineering roles with Federal Law Enforcement customers.
- Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
- Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.
- Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration and load balancing, DNS, and virtual private networks/application to PaaS and IaaS technologies.
- Experience with containers and associated technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, and Microservices.
- Ability to articulate the concrete value of modern cloud ecosystems, multicloud and hybrid cloud architectures, data analytics pipelines, and sovereign security postures to Federal Agency leaders, including (CIO, CDO, CAIO, CISO) and across multiple decision makers.
- Ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the GCP space.
- Fluency in cloud compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST, CJIS).

As a Customer Engineer in the Federal Law Enforcement Team, you will partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective and existing customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, engage in proofs-of-concepts, and troubleshoot any technical questions and roadblocks. You will use your expertise and presentation skills to engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements,and persuasively present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud.

Responsibilities
- Build customer specific, go-to-market solutions to reduce business cycles and drive customer workloads as measured through pipeline and business growth.
- Own the technical relationship with customers empowering them to drive a successful pilot or proof-of-concept, support partners drive toward acceptance of the technical proposal, leading to an agreement, and work with customers during the migration phase to assure they have all the tools necessary to deliver a successful deployment.
- Build trusted advisory relationships and make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution providing best practice advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
- Lead technical projects, technology advocacy, support bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
