Software Engineer III, Google Meet Web Experiences

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with front-end and user interface development.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience with TypeScript, Web Applications and Test Automation.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience working cross-functionally on product/feature launches.
• Experience with Google server-side frameworks such as Apps Framework.
• Previous experience with Google client-side frameworks: Wiz, Soy and GSS.
• Proficient in Java and Typescript.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for the Google Meet web client.
• Collaborate with engineers across the video organization to build features end-to-end.
• Partner closely with Product Management and UX to develop delightful user experiences.
