NVIDIA is seeking a HW Development Engineer to join the Interconnect Design team in Roskilde, Denmark. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge, high-speed interconnect solutions that power the data centers of tomorrow.
The successful candidate will work on design, optimization and testing of interconnect products and, over time, take ownership of transceiver designs, including system bring-up, validation, and cross-functional project leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing
Progress toward ownership of designs of interconnect products, including PCB design, bring-up, system-level testing and qualification.
Drive and manage projects with multiple stakeholders across hardware, firmware, and system teams.
Collaborate across the organization to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality design solutions.
Perform testing, characterization, and validation of modules, components, and system-level solutions
What We Need to See
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in electronic circuit design or datacom/telecom systems testing.
Strong product mindset, with the ability to own and drive transceiver development projects end-to-end.
Highly proactive mindset, demonstrating ownership by identifying opportunities, driving initiatives, and influencing outcomes across teams without being directed.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Experience with at least one programming language.
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd
Background in packaging technologies.
Basic knowledge of optoelectronic components.
Experience with high data rate system characterization and familiarity with RF testing.
Proven capability in optical system testing and validation.
Exposure to product manufacturing and process development, including scaling to production.
Foundation in product qualification and reliability testing.
