We are looking for a self-motivated mechanical Engineer to be located in TW. You will support to build NVIDIA GPU products, work closely with cross functional teams for highly complex board products manufacturing process development, review and maintaining. Familiar with electronic products production build, assembly/disassembly, and test process.
What you will be doing:
Work closely with multi team and factory to maintain mfg flow for critical bottleneck processes.
Verify new supplier/technology of Thermal/mechanical parts is meeting Nvidia spec.
Manage DFM from early design stage until closure.
Product manufacturing process knowledge transition and qualification to new site for mass production, product mechanical& cosmetic& handling prevention plan before releasing to mass production, manufacturing process risk assessment with new product& new manufacturing process.
Analysis design and manufacturing risks and samples/prototype manufacturing.
Manufacturing line reediness: Tooling, process, fixtures, Automation.
Together with other teams, you will develop and deploy DFX methodologies for our next generation products which will serve for MFG purpose.
Accomplish robust and efficient manufacturing for design at suppliers in the area of Thermal, mechanical, from NPI stage till transfer to mass production.
What we need to see:
BS or MS in EE, Automatic Control, Systems Engineering, Mechanical ENG (or equivalent experience).
Proficient in both English and Chinese language
8+ years CM manufacturing process (mechanical assembly, packing process) management experience in computer electrical product.
Familiarity with 3D Drawing software Creo, or other mechanical drawing software.
Can well know manufacturing process qualification tool (strain gauge test, pressure paper test, DNP, cross section…), and know well of CPK, GR&R to review equipment . There is knowledge for DFX, DOE, PFMEA, 8D, QPA etc.
Familiarity with BGA corner bonding solution, TIM dispensing, Laser etching, underfill ...
Be willing to work in a lab or manufacturing environment.
Be willing to travel internationally and support different globe CM product manufacturing process transferring and qualification.
Must exhibit a high level of flexibility and ability to multi-task all the time.
Independent & capable to lead tasks from beginning to closure, and possess good reasoning and strong analytical, problem-solving abilities.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Knowledge of board manufacturing process, system assembly .
Rich experience in fixture design , automation, fixture validation
Mechanical tolerence analysis
Good mechanical issue trouble shooting capability.
