Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin , Texas. Create and maintain best-in-class system tests and testing infrastructure to validate new Mac and iPad system hardware in development. Create and improve tests, test frameworks, and test automations to validate the design of complex hardware systems. Create and maintain test data automations for large scale test data collection, analysis and reporting. Work with test engineers to enable test execution and data analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional software, hardware and silicon design engineers to define and enable best system level validation tests. Develop automated high-speed signal integrity test software tools for use in hardware development of laptop, desktop, server, tablet and mobile phone products. Collaborate and support production test engineers in production factories in enabling high-confidence, large-volume data collection using high-speed signal integrity test tools. Development of automation software framework which is the foundation for signal integrity data collection tools, as well as other system hardware validation tests. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience and/or education must include: Using a CAD Software to review hardware system and board designs. Identifying functional hardware design and test goals in system block diagrams and board design schematics. Coding in Python to create hardware tests for hardware components and subsystems. Creating and maintaining object-oriented test automation frameworks to enable the development of hardware validations and production tests. Working with GIT or other code revision control systems in shared software development projects. Utilizing Redis, PostgreSQL or other databases for test data management. Using Splunk Tableau or other data processing/visualization tools to automate data analysis. Utilizing Jira, Bugzilla or equivalent issue management tools for projects.
