We are seeking an extraordinary Software Engineering Manager who is passionate about Information Security, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing a team responsible for developing Web and network based security tooling at Apple. This is a technical hands-on role that is focused on delivery of technologies used to protect Apple.

Description

In this role, you will manage a team building and deploying highly scalable and efficient solutions that will identify and report security risks across our organisation. You should be technically credible, able to contribute directly to the projects. If you have a passion for building security products, this role will enable you to apply your skills to solve new and exciting problems at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a team of engineers , including perforance reviews and and career development Driving strategic direction of the tooling and detection creation processes. Building new capabilities and approaches leveraging AI and data sources within Apple to improve the quality of scanning Build collaborative relationships with patner teams to to deliver improvements and enhancements to the tools based on deep understanding of their business needs and requirements Align approaches across our tooling to provide an improved consolidated experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Prior management experience A strong software engineering background in systems, backend, distributed systems, or platform work, with the ability to engage deeply Proven track record in software development and architecture in Go (Golang) Solid grasp of Linux operating systems and familiarity with, networking concepts (e.g. socket programming)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with gRPC Experience developing security auditing products Experience in vulnerability research Experience in developing with Agentic workflows Experience in Swift
